City to City Japan is seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships and Relationships — a Christ-centred leader passionate about seeing Japan’s cities renewed by the gospel. You’ll build networks, forge partnerships, and lead exciting city initiatives like Together Tokyo and Together Kyoto. If you’re a relational, strategic leader with a heart for gospel movements, we’d love to hear from you!

主な業務内容と責任：
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 福音による刷新を前進させる戦略的パートナーシップの構築

    Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships that advance gospel renewal.

  • 教会開拓者やミニストリーリーダーのリクルートとサポート

    Recruit and support church planters and ministry leaders.

  • 「Together Tokyo」や「Together Kyoto」という都市とつながる取り組み主導し、 教会、非営利団体、行政リーダーを結集して、彼らのコミュニティに希望と正義を もたらす。

    Lead city engagement initiatives like Together Tokyo and Together Kyoto, uniting churches, non-profits, and civic leaders to bring hope and justice to their communities.

応募資格（最低条件）:

Minimum Qualifications:

必須:

  1. 成熟し、成長を求めるクリスチャンとしての信仰を持ち、CTCJ の使命と価値観に共感しコミットメントできること。

  2. パートナーシップ構築、ステークホルダー関係構築、資金調達、またはネット ワークリーダーシップにおける実証された経験(最低2~5年)—信仰を基礎とした団体または非営利団体での経験が望ましい。

  3. 信頼構築・協働促進・複雑なネットワークの調整を行う能力。

  4. 戦略的思考力、コミュニケーション能力、対人スキル。

  5. 日本語に堪能であること、および英語を習熟していること(またはその習得への 強い意欲がある)。

望ましい経験:

  1. 教会開拓、牧会、異文化ミニストリーの経験。

  2. 日本の教会およびキリスト教界への理解。

  3. プロジェクト管理、組織開発、都市と関わる取り組みの経験。

Essential:

  1. A mature and growing Christian faith, with a commitment to the mission and values of City to City Japan.

  2. Demonstrated experience (minimum 2–5 years) in partnership development, stakeholder engagement, fundraising, or network leadership —preferably in a faith-based or non-profit context.

  3. Proven ability to build trust, foster collaboration, and navigate complex networks and relationships.

  4. Strong strategic thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  5. Fluency in Japanese and proficiency in English (or a strong commitment to language acquisition).

Desirable:

  1. Experience in church planting, pastoral leadership, or cross-cultural ministry.

  2. Understanding of the Japanese church and wider Christian landscape.

  3. Background in project management, organisational development, or city

    engagement initiatives.
